Coming to Providence for a conference or business trip? Planning a college search weekend? Coming into town to visit friends?

Getting to Providence is super easy and it makes an excellent gateway for traveling around New England.

Fly into TF Green Airport
TF Green Airport has been named the 7th best airport in the nation by Condé Nast Traveler for its affordability, ease of access,  and regional connectivity. Only 10 miles from Downcity Providence, you can get from the airport to the city by taking MBTA, a bus (through RIPTA) or hop into a cab at the airport. A taxi should only cost you around $35.

Take the train
Providence Train Station is located right next to our State House, and an easy walk to many hotels and Downcity attractions. Amtrak and MBTA both service this train station.

Take the bus
The newly redesigned Kennedy Plaza, in the heart of Downcity, is a bus hub that serves RIPTA, as well as many major bus companies, such as Peter Pan and Greyhound. While MegaBus doesn’t stop in Kennedy Plaza, it makes a stop a few blocks away.

Drive
Providence is located at the intersection of I-95 and I-195, just 50 miles from Boston, 180 miles from New York to the south or Portland, Maine to the north and 60 miles to the start of Cape Cod.
