Running from 11am until 6pm, the Providence Flea promises to light up and activate the Westminster Street corridor during this year’s PVDfest. Focussing on artists, artisans and makers, this curated street fair will consist of over 50 vendors, with a smattering of vintage sellers as well.
Artists, artisans and makers keep up with the creative spirit of the arts festival. These exceptional vendors have all been picked by the Providence Flea for their ingenuity, creativity, and quality.
Best of all, they’re local–small businesses and ‘micropreneurs’ that are an important part of the city’s thriving arts and cultural scene. –Maria Tocco, Market Manager of the Providence Flea
With access to the fantastic amenities of Westminster Street such as delicious food, a Café and a couple watering holes, the PVDfest version of the Providence Flea is sure to be a real treat.
About the Providence Flea:
The Providence Flea was inspired by the popular, fun and funky flea markets in Brooklyn, New York. The perfect urban hotspot to have our very own flea was found: right here in our capital city.
The Providence Flea sets up a juried space for treasure hunters and vintage lovers, up-cyclers and retro seekers, and anyone else who appreciates that which is or can be recycled, reused or re-purposed. Join them this Saturday 11am-6pm on Westminster street for PVDfest, and catch them every Sunday at Ship St from 10am – 4pm with unusual finds, art, fashion, local crafts, curiosities, furniture, food trucks and more.
