Art and Design Film Festival

All Weekend :: Variable Locations

Get your culture on. Diverse disciplines are covered this year ranging from photography to architecture; from performance art to hand crafts.
The mission of the festival is to showcase artists, designers, craftspeople, collectors, curators and makers from around the world while entertaining, educating, and reflecting on the influence art and design have on community, history, politics, personal expression and our contemporary landscape.

Regular admission is $10 per screening time, students and seniors $9. Opening night reception and film admission is $30.

Hit up one of Downcity’s intimate restaurants and then head over to Water Place Park for a full lighting to honor Veterans!

Family Learning Sunday: “Bollywood Dance”…with Nita Trevedi

Sunday, November 6, 2016  ::  3:15pm-4:15pm  ::  150 Empire Street



This program is designed for children 8 – 10 years old and families.

Nita has been dancing since she was a child, first learning jazz and ballet. She later studied Indian folk dancing and for years has choreographed, performed, and taught Bollywood dances for various events and for various dancing levels and ages. Nita recently became a Zumba certified instructor, and hopes that her passion for dancing will inspire others to get on the move. Nita teaches Bollywood dancing at the Rhody Center. She is also available for private lessons.
