For #tacofestpvd17, we are pleased to welcome Art on the Spot to help us get in the party groove! Art on the Spot was started by Kara Andrews as a traveling art teacher. The studio specializes in face and body painting, balloon art, and even art classes for parties and festivals.

“I have loved this “immediate art” all my life and love how it affects people. It makes people feel beautiful, fun or  young, It makes children happy,  they can become something else: like a tiger or a dog or a ninja or a princess and gives them the “right’ to act it out.”

Art on the Spot also does henna tattoos, glitter tattoos, airbrush tattoos and animal balloons. Even though Kara can do over 250 types of balloons, the most popular ones by far are the classic princess wands and dogs on a leash.

My favorite [projects] are the zombies and monsters. Everyone acts the part when they put that make up on. My fiancee Jeff Oneill aka The Reverand AL Mighty and I put on the Providence Zombie Night every October, so we have some experience!
