The 3rd FUTURE MONDAYS performance is TONIGHT!

Each and every Monday, a dazzling array of artists and musicians will grace the Aurora stage to enact a performance which will benefit an organization selected as the chosen beneficiary of the month.

MARCH will benefit Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement!

Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement (Familia: TQLM) is the only national organization that addresses, organizes, educates, and advocates for the issues most important to our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) and Latino communities. Familia: TQLM is inclusive and serves of all LGBTQ Latinos, Latinas, and gender nonconforming individuals. We also collaborate with non-LGBTQ families and friends who support our vision of a united LGBTQ Latino and Latina community.

All FUTURE MONDAY shows are free and open to the public.

So how does it work???
Aurora provides a stipend to the performing artists, and a percentage of bar proceeds are donated to the benefit organization. Also available is a donation box for folks who want to be superstars and give more to the cause.

VIA APP (nyc)
. . . A key member of Brooklyn’s emerging electronic music underground making club music that serves both the head and the feet. “…one of the city’s most prodigious talents…at Bossa Nova Civic Club or Trans-Pecos… you’ll notice immediately that she prefers caustic and uncomfortable music, and her style is defined by a jitter and mercurial mixing that delightfully defies the streamlined logic of by-the-book techno. On her third studio album, Sixth Stitch, Scheer presents an ominous and decidedly gothic vision of club music.”  Pitchfork

Just the Right Height (CA)
California’s Just The Right Height delivers noise from the righteously wrong side of trash island, with support from Elle Excess and Nancy Dr0ne on Pittsburgh’s La Squadra imprint.

VALISE (pvd)
The solo performance and sound project of Maralie. Maralie’s multi-mediated works emphasize the evolution of spiritual and emotional expression via technology and seduces poetics from human-machine interaction.

RRLEW (pvd)
“I am the last straw”
