Oberlin: Late Night Party

The Like-It-Never-Happened-New-Year’s-Eve-Party will feature a special cocktail and snack menu to ring in 2019 and forget 2018 ever happened. Enjoy deep cuts of funk, groove, ’80s pop and Afro-pop.

An a la carte beverage menu will be available and is to be selected and paid for at the event. Free to attend, but register here.

Salon: DJ Dance Party

57 Eddy Street

Salon will be hosting its 8th annual New Year’s Eve party with music by Norlan and DA Huey X. No cover.

Birch: NYE Tasting Menu

200 Washington Street

Birch will offer a multi-course, seasonal tasting menu that will feature ingredients preserved this past summer, as well as a deep dive into the cellars and oceans to bring you a menu that helps to round up the year and welcome 2019. Dining slots are available between 5 pm – 9 pm. 

This event is $150 per person. An optional $85 beverage pairing will be available to purchase at the event. Tickets can be purchased here

The Malted Barley: Disco into 2019 

334 Westminster Street

The Malted Barley will be hosting a disco-themed party starting at 8 p.m., with disco-themed cocktails, a complimentary midnight champagne toast, a dance floor, and of course, disco tunes. 21+, no cover charge. 

Figidini: Southern Italian Five-Course Meal 

67 Washington Street

The inspiration for the final meal of 2018 was owners Frankie and Kara’s trip to Southern Italy and their late mother’s Italian recipes. They say, “This will be a celebration and homage to the flavors that define what touches our hearts and makes you say, ‘Mmmmmm, tutto buono!'”

Tickets are $120 and include the five-course meal, drinks, taxes, and gratuity. Tickets available now through Eventbrite and also at Figidini.

The Boombox: Private Karaoke

Ring in the new year with your favorite songs and your favorite people! Book a private karaoke room at The Boombox. 

Gracie’s: Roaring Twentieth

Gracie’s will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on New Year’s Eve with a Roaring Twenties themed celebration! Come prepared to drink, dine, and dance the night away decked out in your 1920s-inspired finest. Gracie’s says: 

“Our kitchen will offer all of the exquisite and elaborate luxuries that one dreams of enjoying on New Year’s Eve — think oysters and caviar, truffles, scallops, and much more enjoyed amidst a glittering backdrop and set to the tunes of a local jazz band and singer who will serenade you throughout the evening.” 

Guests may choose from 5 and 7-course chef’s tasting menus designed for the occasion, with the option for varying choices within each course. Vegetarian options will be available for each course. As always, tastings may be paired with wine for the complete Gracie’s experience.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling 401-272-7811, with dinner time slots from 5–9:30pm. The celebration will go until the ball drops! Black tie attire is encouraged.

New Year’s Day

The Eddy: Fried Chicken & Champagne

The Eddy will celebrate the first day of 2019 with fried chicken from Durk’s BBQ and champagne from Wine Wizards, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
