Join us for our annual Celebrate Downcity block party in historic downtown Providence, this year on Saturday, Dec. 1st!

 

 

WHEN: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1

11 A.M. – 4 P.M.

WHERE: Westminster Street between Union and Eddy Streets, and Grant’s Block (260 Westminster Street), Downtown Providence

 

InDowncity kicks off the holiday season downtown with its annual Celebrate Downcity neighborhood block party on Saturday, December 1, including complimentary Polaroid photos with Santa Claus!

Spend the afternoon immersed in local holiday spirit with festive music, dance performances, fun giveaways, delicious foods, warm drinks, kids’ crafts, photos with Santa, and more, while also getting a head start on holiday shopping at your favorite local shops. Enjoy the sights along Westminster Street while browsing unique apparel, jewelry, books, records, vintage and handmade goods, holiday decorations and more. Many businesses will be offering specials and promotions to help you find a little something for everyone on your list!

If you work up an appetite while shopping, Weenie Wizard, Friskie Fries, Burgundian Waffles, Wright’s Dairy, and Mooseman’s Kettle Corn will be on site to feed you and the family, or check out one of the many fabulous restaurants downtown. Little Bitte Artisanal Cocktails be serving up festive drinks for purchase inside The Cove pop-up store, featuring handmade ceramics, textiles, wood boards, gift wrapping and more.

This event takes place snow or shine, but don’t worry, Small Point Café, Bolt Coffee and Hotel Providence will all be whipping up warm drinks to keep you cozy.
