Have you been down Washington Street downtown recently? If so, you might’ve noticed a colorful new mural inside the Biltmore Garage, located at 51 Washington Street, next to Ellie’s Bakery.

The vibrant mural was painted by local artist Buck Hastings in collaboration with Cornish Associates, and blends various pieces of Providence’s downtown history, like Luke’s American-Chinese Restaurant, which opened at 59 Eddy Street in 1951.

Next time you’re in the neighborhood, take a peek at the mural (what do you recognize?!) and share photos with us on Instagram by tagging @indowncitypvd – we’d love to see them.
