7 Iced Drinks We Love in Downtown Providence
Winter, spring, summer, or fall, iced coffee reigns over all. At least, that is how it is here in New England! Even though we are happy to order cold drinks even when we’re wearing mittens, we are especially appreciative of cold beverages this very steamy summer. And staying hydrated during heatwaves has never been easier than with delicious drinks from some of our favorite cafes in Downtown Providence, RI. (We are really living our truth since we’re writing this while parked next to our air conditioning unit, an iced latte in one hand and an iced tea in the other.)

BOLT COFFEE CO
Providence is lucky enough to have not one but two different Bolt Coffee locations! But we are especially partial to the 61 Washington Street cafe in Downtown Providence. Whenever we stop in, we like to order something new before taking a seat at the pink marbled tables and settling in to catch up with a friend (or keeping an eye out for cool Providence streetwear). Most recently, our favorite orders are either the bubbly, zesty, and effervescent Komorebi (think matcha, grapefruit soda, and honey) and an Iced Lavender Thyme Latte.
LITTLE CITY COFFEE & KITCHEN
Little City is a great option for when we’re in a hurry with our morning coffee on the way to work… When they opened in the Summer of 2021, owners David Lanning and Kelsey Garvin decided to run the cafe as a primarily to-go operation. While there are welcoming indoor and outdoor seats, we love how quickly our tasty orders are ready to go with us wherever we are headed. Our top picks are usually a sweet Pistachio Praline Iced Latte (we go nuts for this lol), Iced Elderberry Hibiscus Lemonade, or an Iced Matcha Latte.
SMALL POINT CAFE
When we think of classic cafes in Downtown Providence, Small Point Cafe immediately comes to mind! For over thirteen years, Small Point has been serving up tasty treats (including a fair amount of gluten-free fare) and pouring delicious drinks in the neighborhood. Take a seat in this plant-filled cafe while enjoying one of our favorite iced beverages, the Iced Rosemary Brown Sugar Latte! For those looking for a coffee alternative, we also like the flavorful Basil White Iced Tea.
