Rum Week 2022 Kicks Off at Kin Southern Table + Bar

Get ready to raise a glass: Kin Southern Table + Bar is bringing “Rum Week” to downtown Providence!

The celebration of the spirit will include sponsored drinks, guest bartenders, samples, giveaways, music, and more. Head to the restaurant for weeklong festivities from Tuesday, August 16 through Sunday, August 21.

Kin opened in March 2021 and is located on 71 Washington Street at the Biltmore Garage. We love stopping in to enjoy the restaurant’s menu of “Soul Food,” from catfish to chicken and waffles. While the rum-focused bar regularly serves flavorful cocktails (such as the sparkling “Black Girl Magic”) owner Julia Broome looks forward to establishing Kin as a rum bar during Rum Week.

“We have a variety of rums ranging from all around the globe,” says Broome. “The cool thing about rum is that it is transformative. It takes you to another place with a range of sweet and aged flavors.”
