$2 BUCK SHUCK 5 NIGHTS A WEEK AT THIS PROVIDENCE RESTAURANT
Any night is a great night to slurp back an oyster, in our opinion… And if you agree, we have a deal for you! Five nights a week, James Beard nominated restaurant Gift Horse offers a $2 oyster special during their 4-5 p.m. happy hour.
This is a delicious opportunity to enjoy fresh local oysters for a discount. Some of our favorites are the Aquidneck Cups from the Sakonnet River; Walrus and Carpenter Dutchies from West Passage; and East Beach Blondes from Ninigret Pond. We also recommend ordering a cocktail and some crudo! Gift Horse is open on Westminster Street at 4 p.m, Thursday through Monday.
SUNDRESSES ARRIVE AT A DOWNTOWN BOUTIQUE
We’ve been watching the newest season of The White Lotus and it has us all in a tizzy! Of course, one thing we can’t look away from—well, apart from the endless shenanigans—are Piper Ratliff’s sundresses. So when we found out that Queen of Hearts and Modern Love on Westminster Street in downtown Providence is now stocking sundresses, we couldn’t wait to sift through the options.
One dress that caught our eye was the newly arrived Sweet Nothings Midi from Free People. It’s so cute! The flowered pattern beckons to spring, and we are so ready to embrace this sleeveless, lightweight wardrobe option.
EASTER PRE-ORDERS ARE NOW OPEN AT ELLIE’S
April brings a tide of warm weather, fresh blossoms, and Easter celebrations. If you’re a bit beyond the egg hunts and pastel candy but still want to satisfy that sweet tooth, Ellie’s in downtown Providence now has Easter pre-orders open until 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 13.
Ellie’s is an excellent option, if you’re hosting. Choose from a variety of croissants, tarts, cakes, and more, along with savory items such as quiche and English muffins. Want to pick up a little treat just for you? Ellie’s is a cafe and eatery that is known for its delectable selection of baked goods, coffee, lunch items, and wine bar on Friday and Saturday nights.
