New Wine Flight Series at Gracie’s

From savoring coffee and croissants at local cafes, to tasting a succulent array of oysters at a new restaurant, InDowncity is often in the thick of it when it comes to good food in Downtown Providence, RI. As always, we love sharing our go-tos with you. Our most recent OBSESSION? Gracie’s new wine flight series!
Head to Gracie’s each Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5-9 p.m. for a stunning lineup of wines and casual vibes. From highlighting stark differences in wines, to focusing on single producers, to tasting the flavors from a specific region, the rotating flights are centered around a variety of inspirations that change each week. The wine flight experience is offered exclusively in Gracie’s Lounge where guests can learn about different varietals and enjoy exceptional—as always—drinks, food, and service in a relaxed manner. Every flight includes a taste of three carefully curated wines for $28.

One thing that has us extra excited about Gracie’s wine flight series is the adapted Lounge atmosphere: while we absolutely adore five to seven courses during a special night out, this series is an opportunity to sit back and relax while set apart from the more formal Dining Room. Guests can sit at the tables by the windows (perfect for people watching, jsyk) or right at the bar. Whether you are meeting up with your crew after a long work day, or need an idea for a spontaneous date location, Gracie’s weekly wine flights are a great choice. (If you’re also looking for a lil InDowncity sighting, you just might find us dressing comfy in jeans and imbibing with great enthusiasm at a table next to yours.)
Along with the flight, you can also craft your own dining experience by selecting a few a la carte options, or—coming soon—snacking on bar bites that complement each sip. Want that full tasting menu too? That’s available in the Lounge as well!
