The verdict is in: spooky vibes need not only be reserved for the kids! This year, check out a fun lineup of Halloween events happening for the 21+ crowd in downtown Providence, RI.
We’re talking a themed pub crawl, dance parties, and ghoulish cocktails. We cannot wait to celebrate Halloween in downtown Providence with you while supporting local small businesses at the same time! Read on to find out all the gory details. Please note: Many of these events require tickets, and the tickets are going fast… We recommend purchasing as soon as possible. Happy haunting!
PROVIDENCE HALLOWEEN GRUB CRAWL
Ghosts aren’t the only things wandering the streets these chilly autumn nights… Foodies are too! On October 27 from 5-9 p.m., our favorite downtown spot for soul food Kin Southern Table + Bar has teamed up with three other restaurants for the Providence Halloween Grub Crawl. It’s “a ghoulishly delightful evening of delicious treats, creepy cocktails, and thrilling entertainment.” By purchasing tickets, each attendee receives specialty Halloween-themed food and drinks at the participating locations during the event. Throughout the night, stop in at Kin, Sports and Leisure, Black Sheep, and Murphy’s. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Find out all the details here. This event is 21+.
GOOD TIMES: HALLOWEEN EDITION
For those looking to dance the night away in the spirit (or dare we say, spirits) of Halloween, downtown Providence bar and nightclub The Salon has something glitzy planned on October 28 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. For Good Times: Halloween Edition, join local DJs Yoonorlan, Sega Genn, Da Huey X, and DJ Ken for a festive night with “an underlying glamorous/studio 54 theme.” There will be a few tickets available at the door, but grab them ahead of time right here. This event is 21+.
TRINITY BREWHOUSE HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY
Walk just a few minutes down the street from The Salon for another fun dance party, this one held at the classic Trinity Brewhouse. The Halloween Dance Party will be held on October 28 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the downstairs pub. Dress up in a costume (if you so desire), order from the wide selection of Trinity beers and beverages, and dance the night away to sounds mixed by DJ-X. There’s no cover, and this event is 21+.
TAROT AND COCKTAILS
Wondering what hand fate has dealt you? Well, we have something fun on the schedule that might quench your thirst for knowledge (and perhaps your thirst in general). During Tarot and Cocktails on October 31, from 8-10 p.m., book a tarot reading from Julie Basil Pierce and enjoy a night of spooky cocktails at Clementine Cocktail Bar. Clementine has brought us such decadent drinks as the zesty Clementine Spritz and the show stopping Bitter Tai-Kiwi (this is the one with a smoky bubble atop the glass!) so we’re excited to see what wondrous Halloween cocktails are on the menu.
