THE SPRING SHOES WE’RE CURRENTLY ROCKING
Is anyone surprised to look around at streetwear and still see Adidas shoes reigning supreme? We aren’t too surprised that these versatile, comfortable sneakers are proving a bit timeless. (Perhaps that’s because we’re proud to say we’ve been wearing them for years.) If you’re looking for a spring sneaker, we especially love this white and black pair of Adidas Samba available at local downtown Providence skate shop Civil.
Looking for a different look? Browse Civil’s extensive footwear catalog! Located on Westminster Street (with locations in East Greenwich and Westerly), Civil regularly stocks the newest Nike, New Balance, Vans, and other prominent athletic shoe brands.
THE DOWNTOWN CLUB WE’RE HEADED TO FOR DANCING, DRINKS & LOCAL DJS
We love a cozy night in as much as we can’t deny ourselves a good night out! When it’s time to dance the night away, there’s one spot in downtown Providence that we’re likely headed to…The Salon on Eddy Street!
And—for the 21+ crowd—they have two nights we can’t wait for coming up this weekend: on Friday, April 18, “Nothing But Love" is an R&B night featuring DJs Cam Bells and Indi.irl. And on Saturday, April 19, there will be all the Latin/International vibes for “Sábado Gigante,” a night featuring DJs Yoonorlan, Séga Genn, and partywithrami.
Grab a friend, order a cocktail, play some vintage games upstairs, and then head downstairs to the dance floor for all the fun. The Salon is open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
