We’d like to raise a glass to a brand new business joining us in downtown Providence, RI: Lovely Bride Providence will open on Oct. 26 at 65 Eddy Street!
This gorgeous indie bridal boutique is part of the international Lovely Bride collective, and will be the first location set in New England. The shop officially opens on Oct. 26, and the public is invited to attend the Lovely Bride Providence Open House on Oct. 27 from 5-8 p.m. for drinks and small bites. The original Lovely Bride shop was opened in 2010 in New York City and since then, the brand has expanded to nineteen other locations. Each store is woman-owned and includes an inclusive, modern, and stylish range of dresses from select designers. The Providence location will carry a unique variety of designers, including Louvienne, Rime Arodaky, Alyssa Kristin, Rue de Seine, Lovers Society, Saint, and Alyne. And the options are completely dreamy!

Lovely Bride Providence is owned by Katie Wadhams; Wadhams is also the owner of Lovely Bride Rochester. Prior to opening the Rochester location in 2015, she spent thirteen years in New York City managing marketing for retailers, including an online bridal line.
“As an unashamed wedding dress junkie, I’m so excited to be opening the nineteenth Lovely Bride location–and my second shop–in Providence Rhode Island,” said Wadhams. “I visit New England every year with my family, so Providence was a natural choice for my second shop. When we were visiting potential locations, we immediately fell in love with the energy, architecture, and community of downtown Providence.”
Ready to find the dress of your dreams? Lovely Bride Providence can be found at 65 Eddy Street on the ground floor of the historic Peerless Building. The shop is by appointment only so that each bride can work with a dedicated stylist to help them find “the one.” Appointments can be booked online. The shopping experience is approachable and includes full price transparency when it comes to each dress. We love that there’s no cost guesswork and that every bride can enjoy a shopping process built around their stylistic likes and dislikes!
